From A School Principal's speech at a graduation. ..... He said "The Doctor wants his child to become a doctor... the Engineer wants his child to become an engineer... The Businessman wants his ward to become CEO... BUT a teacher also wants his child to become one of them, as well..!! Nobody wants to become a teacher BY CHOICE"... Very sad but that's the truth..!! The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life. One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued, "What's a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become only a teacher?" To stress his point he said to another guest; "You're a teacher, Mrs Sharma. Be honest. What do you make?" Teacher Mrs Sharma, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied, "You want to know what I make? (She paused for a second, then began...) "Well, I make kids work harder than they ever

Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment ‘Women’ means ‘adult female humans’. ‘Female’ word came from the word ‘male’ with adding the prefix ‘fe-’ meaning ‘feminine’. It means ‘the male counterpart who is endorsed with feminine qualities by the nature’ or ‘the beings feminine attributes are whose intrinsic characteristics’. ‘Woman’ word came from ‘man’ adding a prefix ‘wo-’ indicating ‘womb’. It means ‘the man counterpart who is provided with the womb by the nature to procreate human being’. It is the distinguishing characteristic of woman from man. ‘Power’ means ‘particular natural ability or abilities of the body or mind’. ‘Empower’ means ‘to give someone the confidence, skills, freedom etc to do something’, ‘to give somebody the power or the authority to do something’ 0r more precisely ‘to give somebody more control over their life or the situation they are in’. The Ideal Purpose of Education

Image
Ideal Purpose of Education Each individual teacher has an opinion about what the core purpose of education should be, not only in their own classrooms but also in schools in general. Many issues occur when differing opinions about the purpose of education. It is important to recognize that other people, including many of our coworkers, administrators, and parents might have a different point of view concerning what education should be. Imbuing students with the knowledge to get by is an old-school belief. It's the idea that schools need to provide students with the knowledge they need to be functional adults in their day-to-day lives. (Cred: Melissa Kelly) They need to know how to read, write, and do arithmetic. These are the core topics that form the foundation of a student's education. The purpose of education to some teachers is to impart knowledge about the subject matter they are teaching without much thought to other classes. While it's important

Spread your love

Be kind..... Being humble does not mean you think less about yourself, it means you are less focused on yourself and more focused on everything around you. It means you will be more compassionate and forgiving, less stressed, and live a happier life. When you are thinking about yourself, the thinking generally becomes negative and soon your emotional state, how you feel, is one of sadness, or perhaps greed or even anger. Happiness comes from the mind, how we think is how we feel. Being humble gives life meaning because it reduces the ego, leading to joy and happiness. Being humble means recognizing we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others. A meaningful life is not about being rich, being popular, being highly educated, or being perfect. It is about being real, being humble, being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others. It is only then that we can have a full, happy and contented

The system of Education is running after marks and grades

Image
• Mrs. Saji Thankappan Head UNW: The Indian system of running after marks and grades which marks a kid's quality has to be abolished totally... Make them smart to stand on their own feet...to face failure with a strong heart and success with a humble heart ,to respect all jobs in life and above all to be a human being..to learn to smile through adversaries. • Mrs. Archana UNV: Comparison of any form between kids and humans should be abolished.  Every one has their own growth rate and each of us grow as per that. Flowers bloom at their own times, we don’t compare a lotus with a rose - both are beautiful but one grows with thorns and other blooms in mud. • AZEEZ: Marks are awarded for work done. And grades are for the values which the child inculcated through work done. Both are necessary for assessment in Education and without which it is impossible to sum up or come to an end as Education is an neverending process. • Mrs. Durga Nair UNV: Comparison becomes the fas
